It’s a topic that literally hits home with me, as my mom was diagnosed w/ breast cancer just last year. She’s doing wonderfully now, but I will never forget the physical and emotional pain she endured while undergoing chemotherapy. Like most women, my mom always put others in front of herself. As healthy as she was at her age, she never thought “something like this” would happen to her. Unfortunately, cancer doesn’t choose you based on health, merit or rapport. Had we known that this cancer was growing inside of her early on, the surgery & treatment would not have been as damaging as it was.

Thinking pink is more than just an alert to a cause, it truly translates into thinking about your health as a woman. To take the time and check yourself…and to take the action to do something about it. Be open-minded. Have a healthy conversation if you’re concerned with a loved one, or even yourself.
